Pastors Roger and Cheryl Dean

Roger Dean
Ordained through the Assemblies of God, Pastor Roger Dean has served as the Lead Pastor at Church on the Rock since August, 1992. He was raised in a nominally Christian home and, at the age of 14, was water baptized in the Ohio River at Bethlehem, IN (Clark County). Shortly thereafter, he succumbed to the lure of the flesh and remained on a wayward path for 14 years until he felt his calling back to the Lord and into discipleship and ministry. After reaffirming his commitment to God, Pastor Roger attended New Life Bible School in Cleveland, TN. For several years he coordinated a singles ministry at the First Assembly of God in Madison, IN, while taking Berean School of the Bible courses. It was  through the singles ministry that he met his future wife, Cheryl. They were wed in June, 1993. Pastor Roger serves as President of the South Ripley Ministerial Association. He also serves as the Ministry Presbyter in his area for the Assemblies of God and on the Credential Committee and Church Development Cabinet.

Cheryl Dean
Pastor Cheryl was raised a follower of the Catholic faith in Girad, PA. It was while she was in high school that she was "saved" and  fully dedicated her life to Christ. While attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the now Registered Nurse became active with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. Her nursing degree brought her employment in Louisville, KY, and later she moved to Kings Daughter's Hospital in Madison, IN. She remains employed part-time as an RN at KDH.  Pastor Cheryl is fully licensed through the Assemblies of God. Pastor Cheryl and Pastor Roger were blessed with two children: Daniel in 1996, and Sarah in 1999. Pastor Cheryl is currety developing a discipleship class. She is also helping in other areas as needed, including preaching at other churches.

Rock Solid Youth Ministries: Pastor Dan and Heather May

Dan May
Pastor Dan has been the Youth Pastor at Church on the Rock since September, 2001 and has been a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God since 2005.

Pastor Dan Accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 12 but drifted away from his faith and the church after graduating high school. Following a nine year enlistment in the United states Air Force, he returened to the Versailles, Indiana area and began attending Church on the Rock. Soon thereafter, he re-dedicated his life to the Lord and began to seriously pursue God's will for his life. In April of 2002, at a youth event called Tidal Wave in Lafayette, Indiana, Dan felt the call of God on his life to become a youth pastor. He's been passionately pursuing that call ever since.

Heather recieved Christ at a early age and as a teenager was very involved in her youth group. At the age of 15 she felt called to ministry but was not sure what God has planned. In December 1992 she was married to Pastor Dan and moved to Florida where she drifted away from her relationship with God. In 1998 when she and Pastor Dan moved back to Indiana she rededicated her life and became a member of Church on the Rock. She began serving in the Youth Ministry alongside her husband Pastor Dan who was serving as the Youth Pastor. This year at the Indiana Disctrict Youth Camp she felt called to the Children's ministry and became the Kid's Ministry coordinator in August 2011. She loves to see children learn and grow in their knowledge and understanding of God and who He is. Heather is also involved with the Praise and Worship team and still an active part of RSYM. She is also pursuing her education with Global University to become a Credentiated Minister with the Assmbly of God.

Heather and Pastor Dan have two teenage children, Austin and Aly.

Versailles Pastor Josh and Julia Hendrickson

Josh Hendrickson
I have been the Versailles Church on the Rock's Pastor since September, 2011. I gained my ministerial certification through Assemblies of God in May 2011. I have been married to my wife, Julia, since October, 2010. I am the sort of guy who will drink soda or hot tea, watch scifi or action, and generally write sermons with music playing rather than without. My desire is for the presence and leading of God at every service, in every sermon. Without it, words are meaningless and hollow.
